John William Hohenstein

John William Hohenstein, age 25 of Lovettsville, VA passed away on February 6, 2013 at his residence. Born on October 20, 1987 in Vallejo, California he is the son of Bill and Lyn Hohenstein.

John was a 2006 graduate of Loudoun Valley High School where he played soccer and basketball. He attended Nova Community College and Radford University. John was employed by TGIF Restaurant in Leesburg.  John liked working with children and was a volunteer as a youth soccer coach and as a camp counsellor with the Leesburg YMCA. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, and bowling.

He is survived by his parents Bill and Lyn of Loudoun County, VA; sister Veronica Hohenstein of Vienna, VA; brother Michael Hohenstein of Arlington, VA; and half-brother Robert Hohenstein (Shannon) of Columbus, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9th, from 10-12pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Purcellville at 1:00 pm. Following Mass, friends and family are invited to a reception at Loudoun Golf & Country Club from 2-4pm.

In honor of John, memorial contributions will be accepted by the Leesburg YMCA, 26B Fairfax Street, Leesburg, VA 20175.
